Sun King Brewing
As an anchor destination on the city’s plaza, DELV designed the new 15,000 SF two-story distillery and taproom with a modern-industrial look utilizing materials such as metals, woods, and concrete to express its adjacent, historic railway.
HEAPY provided Mechanical-Electrical Design services associated with plumbuing, fire suppression, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and electrical systems. The two-story distillery with and tap room has a production capacity of up to 10,000 proof gallons and seating for 300 people, including space on the rooftop deck that will overlook the Monon Trail.
Thoughtful outdoor seating environments were integrated on the rooftop and lower level, connecting patrons to the lively activity along the Monon Trail and the Midtown Plaza. Punch through openings and glass wrappings invite patrons into the craft of their operations, offering them unique visual access into the process behind the beverages they’ve come to enjoy.
