Bellbrook-Sugarcreek School District
Middle School Chiller Project
Project Overview
Project included a new 140-ton chiller and pumps that could make ice or chilled water in the existing chilled water plant. The project re-piped the existing central plant and revised the plant controls to allow various chilled water or ice storage modes. Additional energy efficiency control was added to the plant. Project was done under a tight summer shutdown schedule and all work was coordinated to minimize chilled water downtime. All the operations of the plant were commissioned to minimize performance issues.
