South Dearborn Community Schools

HEAPY provided professional engineering design and field observation services for the plumbing, fire suppression, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and electrical systems associated with the South Dearborn Community School Corporation High School renovation.

Music Department Building Addition and Renovation

• Fire protection as required by current code
• New roof mounted dx split system for heating and cooling
• Normal building power
• Interior lighting
• Exterior lighting
• Information Communication & Technology – including adjustments due to the renovation, such as paging, access control, wireless, security system, surveillance cameras, and cabling to support project. HEAPY created design specifications and drawings in accordance with the most current standards for infrastructure, low voltage cabling, in addition to the systems listed above.
• Basic parking lot and site lighting
• General renovation to adjacent space (approximately 622 SF)

Auditorium

• Replace lighting main house – change out (60) can lights to LED’s
• Replace and upgrade sound system
• Runway aisle lights in main house
• Restroom upgrades – new plumbing, new lighting and exhaust, if required.

Pool

• Add LED pool lighting – plan to reuse the existing (4) locations currently capped.
• LED ceiling lighting upgrade – change out (39) lights to LED’s
