Roper St. Francis Healthcare is committing $1 billion to build a new medical campus in North Charleston, SC, anticipated to be one of the largest, most advanced healthcare construction protects on the East Coast. Part of the healthcare system’s 2030 vision, the Roper Hospital Medical Campus will occupy 27 acres along Mall Drive, strategically positioned between Interstates 26 and 526. The site is directly across from the healthcare system’s planned outpatient facilities.

HEAPY is delivering master planning and engineering design services for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, and low voltage technology systems for the new campus.

Master planning services include:

The new campus will feature a full-service hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, a new medical office building, and multiple outpatient and specialty care facilities. It will also offer convenient access to rapid transit, enhancing healthcare accessibility for the surrounding community.
