HEAPY provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and fire protection services for the Wade Garage just north of the FC Cincinnati Major League Soccer Stadium. The parking garage contains 833 new public parking spaces and is located on Wade Street between Central and John Street. There are five levels plus camelback, parking office with restroom and two ramped entry / exits on the West and North side of the garage. It is completely above grade and fully open with an exterior hard scape parking area.
Highlights include all LED lighting with integrated lighting control to further maximize energy efficiency, a fire suppression approach involving manual standpipes to avoid the cost of a fire pump, integrated blue phone system for customer safety throughout that exceeds industry standards on accessibility to users, design for future connections for possible pedestrian access, an accent stair to clarify entrance and exit locations for arrival highlighted with a glass enclosure and accented lighting.
This was all provided to the end user on budget and scheduled construction is to be completed on time.
