Eiteljorg Museum

HEAPY provided retro-commissioning and utility incentive support for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, resulting in significant energy savings and financial benefits.
Through a detailed analysis of the museum’s heating and cooling systems, HEAPY identified efficiency improvements that enabled the facility to achieve an 18% reduction in annual electricity consumption, equivalent to 594,250 kWh. This reduction aligns with the museum’s sustainability goals and ensures the consistent environmental conditions required to preserve its collection of artwork and artifacts.
HEAPY’s collaboration with AES Indiana secured $72,210 in incentives for the Eiteljorg Museum, covering the full cost of the retro-commissioning study and contributing to implementation expenses. These efforts not only enhance operational efficiency but also allow the museum to allocate resources toward its mission and community programs.
