HEAPY provided MEP, fire protection, and technology design services for the Cedarville University Callan Academic and Athletic Center Expansion. The center is the home of Yellow Jacket basketball and volleyball and is also an academic facility and is home to the university’s school of allied health.
The second-floor expansion will create additional classrooms, lab space, and offices for the School of Allied Health, and is part of a 10-year campus master plan. The space will be used by the university’s new Master of Athletic Training program, and potentially a new Master of Medical Science in PA Studies.
In addition, the new space will include a dedicated weight room for athletes, as well as a new 2,000 SF team room where athletic staff and student-athletes can meet, review film, host events, and recruit future Yellow Jackets.
