HEAPY is pleased to announce we have achieved the WELL Health-Safety Rating for all five of our offices, as certified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
“In the past decade, we have seen a trend towards incorporating health and wellness into building design and renovation, and the pandemic only accelerated that trend,” said CEO Mark Brumfield.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party verified program that helps building owners and operators develop operational policies, maintenance protocols, stakeholder engagement and emergency plans to support the occupant health and safety. HEAPY implemented features such as creating a business continuity plan, selecting preferred cleaning products (non-toxic/harmful), and assessing ventilation and reducing respiratory particle exposure (air quality).

The International WELL Building Institute developed the WELL Health-Safety Rating leveraging a task force of nearly 600 public health experts, virologists, government officials, academics, business leaders, architects, designers, and real estate professionals, and incorporates COVID-19 safety guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control.
