HEAPY is pleased to announce the opening of its Raleigh, North Carolina office. This newest office, the firm’s sixth, will help achieve several strategic goals, which include:
- For existing HEAPY clients, continue to provide an exceptional service experience throughout their entire enterprise.
- For the region’s Building Owners, bring additional resources to enhance their ability to use sustainability and resiliency based principles when making strategic Design and Operations decisions.
- Fuel the continued growth of HEAPY and accelerate smart technology integration within the building industry by hiring from the rich and diverse talent pool generated by the region’s many prestigious colleges and universities.
“The decision to expand our presence into the Raleigh-Durham region was a logical next step in our business strategy,” the HEAPY Strategic Planning Committee stated. “We will have the opportunity to expand our client base to include additional Healthcare, Higher Education, Corporate and Government clients by matching their needs with our Corporate Vision to ‘Build a more Resilient and Sustainable Society’.”
Twenty-year HEAPY veteran, Sr. Mechanical Engineer and Principal, Doug Sales PE, HBDP, will lead the Raleigh Office Operations. The soon to be finished top floor fit out of downtown’s One Glenwood Building will house up to 30 HEAPY colleagues. Business Development support for the Raleigh operations will be provided by longtime North Carolina resident and building industry professional Jessika Douglas.
