Wabash College Community Center
HEAPY is providing infrastructure and MEP system design for the new Community Center at Wabash College, a 56,000-square-foot facility designed to strengthen connections between the college and the Crawfordsville community. The facility will provide a versatile space for collaboration and engagement. It will be used for events, dining, meetings, and activities, welcoming students, local organizations, and residents year-round.
The Community Center will feature a main-floor dining area capable of accommodating more than 200 people, as well as flexible event spaces on the upper level for groups ranging from 12 to 250 attendees. The center will feature a physical connection to the nearby library, as well as offer the following spaces and amenities to the campus community:
- flexible event and meeting spaces
- kitchen and dining space (restaurant and pub, as well as a grab-and-go dining option)
- lounge areas
- collaboration spaces
- restaurant and pub, game room, and meeting spaces
- private offices/chambers
- open plan offices
- conference rooms
The facility features a blend of open spaces, dining options, and event venues, offering areas for relaxation, socializing, and larger gatherings to support the college’s mission of creating meaningful connections and transforming lives.
