Miami County Jail Technology Upgrades

HEAPY provided Technology design services to multiple locations within Miami County. The technology design scope of work was performed for the following locations:

• Miami County Jail County Road 25A (detention electronics, intercom, access control, video surveillance)
• Miami County Jail Downtown (detention electronics, intercom, access control, video surveillance)
• Miami County Covered Bridge (video surveillance)
• Miami County Engineer’s Office/Garage (video surveillance)
• Miami County Sanitary Engineer’s Office/Transfer Station (access control, video surveillance)

Bidding Services

• Create bid invitations and notifications
• Conduct pre-bid meeting
• Respond to questions during bidding
• Issue responses to questions in the Addendum
• Evaluate bids
• Conduct post-bid Interviews
• Create suggestions of award

Construction Services

• Host kick-off meetings, construction updates, and progress meetings
• Create meeting notes to share with stakeholders
• Review of all shop drawings and submittals
• Respond to all RFI’s from installing firm
• Managed contractor during the installation
• Review monthly pay applications
• Create an open issues list as needed
• Create a punch list
• Verify punch list for completeness
• Review of close-out documents
• Host final close-out meeting / final sign-off
