Indianapolis Airport Authority White Box Concessions
Cost $1,533,792
Size 1,200,000 SF
HEAPY developed packages for white box preparation of existing spaces for new food and beverage, retail, and service concessions at the Indianapolis International Airport’s 1,200,000 SF midfield passenger terminal, which opened in 2008 between the existing airport’s two parallel runways. Dining, shopping, and retail services are available to the public in the pre-security Civic Plaza and available to ticketed passengers in the post-security areas of Concourses A & B.
Careful planning and phasing were required to work to enhance the space while maintaining operations in areas with high customer traffic at the airport.
