| This year, HEAPY Solutions expanded its engineer led, design-build construction management services in Indianapolis to further serve our local clients in the region. Ryan O’Connell, PE, serves as lead Project Manager for the region, bringing over a decade of industry experience to the role. He will spearhead engineer led, turnkey project solutions from the planning and concepting phase through design and construction. In addition to his work with HEAPY Solutions, Ryan will continue to support and provide guidance on the firm’s healthcare design projects. |

Ryan’s project portfolio in the region includes an air handler upgrade project to bring critical healthcare spaces into compliance. Through his efforts, he has reduced the client’s original completion estimate of one year down to four months.
Additionally, Ryan is helping multiple Indiana hospitals navigate the planning process for several challenging infrastructure projects. By clearly outlining the conceptual scope and refining budgets, the team will help the client mitigate change orders, schedule delays, impacts to operations, and budget issues.
O’Connell is also providing engineering expertise to help a Fortune 500 company plan and prioritize infrastructure and updates to its global facilities master plan. He is collaborating with the client to highlight design impacts to resiliency, sustainability, energy, and wellbeing in alignment with the corporation’s ESG goals.
