Amanda Doenges, PE, MBA, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, Client Strategies Leader
Amanda leads the Education Market focus for HEAPY, where she plays an integral role in developing client relationships, helping our clients through strategic problem solving, and forming strategic partnerships. She is a licensed mechanical engineer with a passion and focus on driving increased energy efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability. She previously served as Director of Engineering & Administration for a private university, giving her a unique perspective and allowing her to better serve clients in both K-12 and higher education institutions.

Amanda has volunteered for many positions within the U.S. Green Building Council, including Chair for USGBC Indiana and a member of the Greenbuild Education Advisory Group. She enjoys supporting colleagues as co-lead of the HEAPY Women in Engineering Group. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and golf, as well as spending time with her husband, 6-year-old son, 3-year-old daughter, and their 12-year-old Great Dane.

Craig Rohren, PE, LEED AP BD+C, Project Manager
Craig joined HEAPY in 2007 as a mechanical engineer and now serves as a Project Manager in the Education/Corporate Practice. His vast experience across several markets has helped bring our client’s vision to reality in various building types including multi-use high rises, libraries, dining, offices, education, laboratories, research, and testing facilities. He now primarily focuses his efforts serving government clients including the Department of Defense, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, and the General Services Administration.

Craig lives in Centerville with his wife, Jen, and his three young daughters Kyle (5), Kara (3) and Khloe (1). In his spare time, he enjoys soaking up every moment with his family, working in the yard, smoking meat, and CrossFit.

David Deal, LEED AP O+M, Columbus Office Leader
As Regional Office Leader, David focuses on strengthening relationships with clients and colleagues, growing new partnerships, and fostering a culture of collaboration and community in Central Ohio. David brings a unique systems-thinking and future forward perspective to client challenges and opportunities, often surpassing expectations. This approach has led to involvement on some of HEAPY’s most innovative work across campus planning, high performance buildings, smart building technology integration, deployment of distributed energy resources, and commissioning. His favorite thing about this work are the great people he gets to interact with daily, and the variety inherent to our industry and work – every day is a new challenge!

In his free time, he enjoys chasing his three young boys around the house and in the great outdoors, is always up for an adventure, and likes to stay curious. He and his family are the proud (relatively new) owners of a farm, where they plan to focus on hobby farming and regenerative agriculture in whatever spare time remains.

Ginger Scherbarth, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Chief People Officer
As Chief People Officer, Ginger is leading the revitalization of the HEAPY Human Resources Department to provide better support for colleagues and provide high-quality service to clients. Her primary responsibility is to be a champion and instill a positive culture that aligns with the Core Values of HEAPY. Her work will directly support future success and growth through the retention and development of the firm’s most vital asset – our people.

In Ginger’s spare time, she enjoys running and obstacle course racing, and volunteering for groups such as Girls on the Run and Mason High School Girls Cross Country. She lives in Mason, Ohio with her husband, Dan, and their new puppy Dalmatian, Bella. Her son, Austin, recently finished up his PhD in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech.

Jeremy Fauber, PE, CGD, LEED AP BD+C, Senior Mechanical Engineer
Jeremy began his career at HEAPY in 2003, and now serves as Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Engineering & Digital Strategy department. He collaborates with design staff on developing and maintaining HEAPY’s Design and Production Standards and Methodologies. He supports the production and design staff as a technical resource and leader in systems planning and training. Jeremy has been involved in the design of numerous U.S. Green Building Council LEED projects, including the first LEED Gold hospital in Ohio. He has been instrumental in implementing new approaches and technologies in the company’s diverse projects.

Jeremy serves on several Technical Committees for ASHRAE Society, and he is also heavily involved in the local ASHRAE Chapter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing board games with family and friends, and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Miami Valley and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. He lives in West Chester, Ohio with his wife Ann and their two children along with two cats.

Ron Radabaugh, PE, LC, Senior Project Manager
Ron joined HEAPY in 2018 and serves as a Senior Project Manager in the Healthcare Practice. His background includes more than 20 years of experience in laboratory and healthcare design, as well as construction. Ron’s extensive design experience allows him to address the complex needs of today’s modern healthcare facilities, while his contracting experience provides valuable insight to resolve constructability issues during the design process. He collaborates closely with healthcare clients to develop practical design strategies that contribute to positive patient-focused outcomes.

Ron has been involved with several service organizations in the past, including the formation of a Charter Club of Rotary International where he served in all board positions including the President. He has coached softball over the years, including assisting the high school and travel teams. An avid music lover of (almost) all genres, he can be regularly found on the couch with a bass guitar in his hands, honing his “average-at-best” playing skills with headphones on his ears so nobody else need listen. Ron has a large family, including three daughters, one granddaughter, and five grandsons, and an oversized German Shepherd appropriately name “Max.”
