With the experience I have gained from the generational family of HEAPY, I am thrilled to demonstrate my everyday passion to provide impactful solutions to difficult circumstances and to extend that experience through strategic leadership in our Government and Department of Defense markets.”
Kurt is a project manager with extensive experience with corporate and government markets, working closely with Federal Clients to help achieve their missions and directives. As a senior mechanical engineer, Kurt provides professional design services for HVAC and plumbing systems, from schematic design to full construction document creation, load calculations, and cost estimates.

Evan has 20 years of experience in the design of primary and secondary power distribution systems, lighting and controls, motor controls, fire alarm systems, and EV Charging infrastructure.
He has acted as lead electrical designer in the Commercial Market for projects from small facility renovations to large corporate office renovations, data centers, and stand-alone labs, with increasing levels of project management experience.

Nick provides Building Optimization Services from our Raleigh, North Carolina office, with 12 years of experience focused on energy, sustainability, and commissioning services to help reduce the impact of the built environment.

David’s extensive experience in prefabrication design for the Healthcare Market helps him understand the importance of incorporating these approaches early into design. He focuses on collaboration and planning before the first line is ever drawn to maximize opportunities to save.
In addition, eight colleagues have been elevated to Associate Principal, selected due to their commitment to the firm’s core values, exceptional performance, and positive impact on colleagues and clients alike.
