HEAPY designed the Mechanical and Electrical systems and provided Commissioning services for the new 125,000 SF Medical Center in Liberty Twp. This is the first freestanding Emergency Department for Christ Hospital.
The medical center includes a freestanding emergency room and helicopter landing pad, extended-stay patient rooms, and surgical, physical therapy, cardiology, radiology, urology, orthopedics, and other services. It includes imaging equipment such as X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, and CT scan, as well as four surgical operating rooms.
In addition to our design services, HEAPY provided the Commissioning services for this challenging project. Our Commissioning services included an OPR Review, as well as Construction Validation and Functional Testing of the HVAC and Electrical systems, including the Steam Boiler Systems, OR Purge Systems, Standby Power, and Fuel Oil Systems.
