Kenyon College Art History Museum

HEAPY provided LEED Commissioning Services for the Kenyon College Art History Museum Gallery (AHMG) Building project in Gambier, Ohio. This new 32,000 SF building consists of classrooms, offices, an art gallery, museum exhibits, and a lecture hall.

The following systems were Commissioned as a part of this project:

  • Water-to-water geothermal heat pump units nominal 30 tons units including pumps
  • Closed Loop Geothermal Wells
  • Central Air Handling Systems, Exhaust Ventilation Systems
  • Automatic Temperature Control System
  • Lighting Controls Systems to meet LEED Energy Credit criteria
  • Domestic water generation, pumping and mixing systems and Terminal Units

These Commissioning Services meet the requirements of the Fundamental Building Systems Commissioning Prerequisite, (EAp1) as described in the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design for New Construction (LEED-NC) Rating System, version 2.2.

These Commissioning Services also meet the requirements of the Enhanced Commissioning Credit (EAc3) of the USGBC’s LEED-NC Rating System, version 2.2.

The building is LEED Silver.
