Rick Bennett, is the Operation Manager of the Indiana Building Optimization Group. He joined Heapy as a Commissioning Authority. Rick manages Commissioning projects, representing the Owner’s concerns and perspective on New and Renovation Construction projects and as he Retro-Commissions existing buildings.
Rick has over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry as a service technician, supervisor, instructor and designer. His areas of expertise include: high and low pressure chillers, large DX systems, pneumatics, hydronics, air make up, computer room systems, process equipment, steam high and low pressure and frequency drives.
In his spare time, he is a beekeeper. He has two hives and really enjoys the hobby! It is very relaxing watching the bees bring pollen back to the hive and an added bonus is the pollination of the garden!
Matt Graham is an experienced Project Manager for Department of Veteran Affairs projects. He provides our client’s unique experience in all aspects of Electrical Design, Project Management and Electrical Systems Management.
Matt is primarily responsible for electrical and systems design including drawings, specifications, cost estimating and systems coordination with other project designers.
Matt enjoys photography, fishing and hanging out with his family in his free time.
Ryan Henderson, a Project Manager in our Education-Corporate Practice, is a multi-discipline Design Engineer having preformed structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design for a wide range of new construction and renovation projects.
Ryan has sustainable and general design experience for projects in both the public and private sectors including University, Commercial, and Governmental projects (ie: Courthouses, Municipal Buildings, Office Buildings, Collegiate Facilities, Industrial/Manufacturing Facilities and Cultural Arts).
He is responsible for the technical aspects of his projects as well as planning, organizing, directing and controlling projects. Ryan has developed the ability to perform high level inspection services, having had the opportunity to perform construction administration services for numerous projects early in his career.
Specialty experience includes participation in the completion of maintenance plans for dozens of Ohio school districts.
In Ryan’s free time, he enjoys camping. He loves the outdoors and enjoys getting away from the rush of everyday life. Camping gives him the opportunity to spend valuable time with his family. He enjoy activities such as hiking, mountain biking, 4-wheeling and laughing around the campfire.
Chris Kaylor has been with Heapy since 2000 and is a Project Manager in our Education-Corporate Practice. He is experienced in electrical design including Primary and Secondary Power Distribution Systems, Power Factor Correction, Lighting and Controls, Voice and Data Cabling Infrastructure, Motor Controls, Fire Alarm Systems, Nurse Call, Intercom and Paging Systems. He has designed electrical systems for museums, educational, telecommunications, and religious facilities.
Chris is primarily responsible for electrical and systems design including drawings, specifications, cost estimating and systems coordination with other project designers. He is also responsible in assisting with administrative duties within the design team, project management and training.
In his free time, Chris enjoys woodworking and spending time with his daughter.
