HEAPY is proud to announce Electrical Engineer BILLY FRANK and Senior Plumbing Engineer MARY MAXWELL have successfully passed the Professional Engineer’s exam. Billy earned his Professional Engineering License in the State of North Carolina, while Mary obtained hers in the State of Ohio. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence and quality, and the result of dedication and hard work!
Billy is an electrical engineer who works in our Raleigh, NC office, where he designs building systems predominantly in the healthcare market including hospitals, ambulatory care centers, cancer centers, medical office buildings, emergency departments, labs, medical education, and senior living facilities. His electrical design experience includes power distribution, lighting design, communications, controls, data, and alarm systems. Billy joined HEAPY as a co-op while attending the University of Dayton College of Engineering, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Mary is a Senior Plumbing Engineer in our Columbus office. She designs plumbing systems that are functional, efficient, and innovative for university facilities, secondary education buildings, municipal buildings, corporate office buildings, and manufacturing facilities. She has experience with special systems such as acid waste, kitchen waste, compressed air, medical gases, water and wastewater treatment, and fire suppression systems. Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, and she received her Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) designation from the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.
