As we celebrate ASHE’s Health Care Facilities and Engineering Week, HEAPY would like to recognize the dedication and hard work of the facilities and engineering professionals who serve our nation’s heroes in the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our team is dedicated to furthering the VA mission “to care for those who have served in our nation’s military and for their families, caregivers, and survivors.”
HEAPY is recognized as a Top 4 Veterans Affairs Engineering Firm, as ranked by Building Design + Construction. With over 50 years of experience and more than 900 Veterans Affairs projects nationwide, HEAPY ensures every facility is designed with a focus on resilience, efficiency, and operational excellence. We collaborate closely with VA facilities management teams to create healing environments that serve those who have served our country.
Most recently, HEAPY provided Fire Suppression, Electrical, Plumbing and Technology design for a new 17,000 SF Specialty Care Building at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne Campus, which will be a fully electric facility. This state-of-the-art healthcare facility aligned with our purpose to build a sustainable, well, and more resilient society.
Additionally, HEAPY is committed to working with veteran-owned small businesses. Through initiatives like the Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program, we collaborate with service-disabled veteran-owned firms to drive innovation and bolster local economies. In this way, we further the VA’s positive impact on the community.
HEAPY remains deeply committed to providing sustainable, high-quality MEP engineering solutions that support Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.
Together, we are creating places of respite, healing, and inspiration for our veterans and their families.
