HEAPY is proud to announce Electrical Engineer MARY ALEXANDER has successfully passed the Professional Engineer’s exam, earning her Professional Engineering License in the State of Virginia. PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence and quality, and the result of dedication and hard work!
Mary joined HEAPY as a Senior Electrical Engineer and has 10 years of experience in the A|E|C industry. She has designed systems predominately for the healthcare market including hospitals, ambulatory care, medical office buildings, emergency departments, labs, and Veteran Administration. She is responsible for electrical design, including drawings, specifications and cost estimating.
Her design experience includes primary and secondary power distribution systems, lighting and controls, voice and data cabling infrastructure, motor controls, fire alarm systems, nurse call, intercom and paging systems.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University.
