As a Principal in the firm and leader of the Heapy Cleveland Office, Bill is recognized in the design and construction industry because of his expertise as a project manager and an electrical engineer, his commitment to design innovation and a long list of high-performance building projects. His team has full design responsibility for the plumbing, fire suppression, HVAC and electrical systems of assigned projects including drawing layout, specifications, and cost estimating. He is ultimately responsible for the concept design and final layout of the building’s Mechanical-Electrical systems, incorporating the complex and innovative solutions that are required to meet the needs of today’s projects.
Having spent his entire career with HEAPY, Bill has had the opportunity to work with many signature architects on iconic projects. Some of his career highlights include being the Lead Engineer or Project Manager for: The Ohio State University Thompson Library and NRDT Projects, AT&T 10 S. Canal in Chicago, Mercy Fairfield’s Multi Project Expansion and Cleveland Clinic Avon Inpatient Tower. This wide range of work has expanded his technical expertise in emerging technologies and energy efficient designs in all disciplines HEAPY has to offer.
