Our Co-op Program is a launching pad for your career in the built environment and beyond. At HEAPY, you’ll gain practical experience solving real-world problems in a structured and rigorous professional environment, helping you understand the breadth and depth of opportunities available in the engineering design and construction industry.
Designed for students who are exploring their career options in MEP engineering, technology engineering (audio/visual, security, data and information infrastructure), construction, and building optimization, our co-op program provides a deep dive into the real-world applications of design and construction principles.

Desired Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Sustainability, Clean and Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering or other AEC Industry-related fields
- Able to work a full-time (40-hour per week) work schedule for a semester long period
- Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and drive to produce high quality results
- Inquisitive-the desire to continue to learn and not afraid to ask questions
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills-both oral and written
- Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred but not required
