Tom is responsible for supporting financial & operational performance, project management, and business planning across several ambulatory sites of care.  Before UC Health, he held the role of Director of Plant Operations for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital where he was responsible for infrastructure operation and Capital planning.  During his career at Children’s Hospital, he became the subject matter expert regarding the ligature-resistant patient environment providing design advice to several other pediatric hospitals across the country helping to reduce sentinel events. He has also been privileged to champion several design and process improvements in departments of Psychology, Sterile processing, veterinary, and cGMP research.

Tom has held several positions on the board of directors for the Cincinnati Chapter of ASHRAE including Vice President.  Tom started his college journey at Wilmington College studying accounting and received his Bachelor in the Science of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University where he graduated with honors and continued to receive his Master of Management from Indiana Wesleyan University graduating with a GPA of 4.0.  He also has maintained his high-pressure boiler operator’s license since 2003.
