Steve has 40 years of experience across diverse operations and departments in the electric & gas utility business. Steve has been with the University of Dayton for the past 13 years and is currently the Executive Director of Energy & Environmental Sustainability for the University of Dayton; he is responsible for all energy efficiency & sustainability projects on campus. Steve continually works with the campus community and staff to implement conscious behavior to conserve energy in their day-to-day activities.

Prior to joining the University of Dayton, Steve worked for many years in utility line clearance, as a gas and electric distribution design technician, five years as a NERC certified transmission operator, and was part of the American Electric Power (AEP) outreach team for the GridSmart rebate program for AEP Ohio.
