
As the Embodied Carbon Specialist, Stephanie leads the research, development, and integration of embodied carbon services across HEAPY Design projects and markets, coordinating with Design teams to align whole life carbon reduction strategies with HEAPY’s purpose and commitment to the MEP 2040 Challenge.
Stephanie has a background in whole-building life cycle assessments and has co-authored the company’s MEP 2040 Plan. She participated in the novel MEP 2040 Pilot Study towards a robust dataset of whole life carbon data for the MEP sector, partnering with industry peers to help fill a critical gap in quantifying the carbon footprint of buildings in North America. The breadth of her experience includes working with project teams to target and achieve sustainability goals with well-defined key performance indicators, including measures towards green building certifications such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL.
She graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and an M.Sc. in Hydrology and Water Resources Management from Imperial College London.
