
Paige is currently Vice President, Hospital Administrator, and Chief Nurse Executive at Community Hospital East; her responsibilities include all aspects of operations and quality, safety, customer service, finance, growth, leading people, strategic planning, and managing the hospital.
A nurse since 1985, she has served patients in clinical and administrative capacities. In the following areas: Administration, Acute Medical-Surgical nursing, Ambulatory Immediate care, Emergency Department, Peri-operative services/PACU, Women’s services/Assisted Fertility Services Program Coordinator, Resource Coordination Administration (House Supervision and hospital throughput), Director of Magnet and Professional Development, Professional Practice Consultant for CHNw CNO, home care, school nurse relief, and volunteering in her church and the community.
Paige earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of Indianapolis in ‘85, a Bachelor of Science-Nursing from Ball State University in ‘92, a Master of Business Administration from Anderson University in ’01, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Anderson University in ’06, and a DBA in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2024.
She is ANCC board certified as a Nurse Executive-Advanced and certified by HFMA in Health Care Finance. Paige serves as a Practice Evaluator for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and is a member of the Institutional Review Board for Community Health Network. She has served on the Anderson University and Indiana University School of Nursing Advisory committees, Indiana Organization of Healthcare Executives (past board member and program committee), and the American Lung Association-Indiana affiliate-Climb for Air-Executive Committee. Professional membership affiliations include Indiana Organization of Nursing Leaders, Central Indiana Organization of Nursing Leaders, American College of Health Care Executives, and Sigma Theta Tau.
Paige was honored with a Nursing Excellence Lifetime Achievement award in 2021, selected as an Indianapolis Business Journal’s Healthcare Hero Award in 2018, and named one of Indy’s Top five nurses in 2017 by Indianapolis Star in the Advancement of Nursing category.
Paige’s Perspective on Nursing and Health Care is, “Nurses work harder than any other group of professionals I know. The work of health care is exhausting, but the rewards are found in the relationships we build and in the opportunities for personal growth that occur while serving others in their best and worst of times.”
