Michael Senger boasts more than 19 years of experience in the building design and construction industry with a focus on sustainable design. He serves as the Integrations Leader and co-leader of HEAPY’s Innovation Lab, focused on discovering the future needs and challenges for HEAPY’s clients and incorporating best-in-class approaches and solutions into everyday design practices.

As a leader, Michael is focused on enhancing teamwork, enabling individual growth, and fostering authentic collaboration. He has had the opportunity at HEAPY to work on projects at all stages – concepts, construction documents, commissioning, certification and beyond. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and USGBC LEED Accredited Professional.

Michael and his wife, Sara, have two children, Karenna and Jameson. He loves spending time with his family exploring the outdoors, building Legos, and learning new things.
