Matthew joined the City of Dayton’s Sustainability Office in 2024, where he focuses on energy-related programs for the city government and community, including the City’s peak load management program. Before his role at the city, he worked for Go Sustainable Energy’s healthcare energy management team and Facilities Management at the University of Dayton. He believes educating energy users on peak demand charges is crucial at this time of rapidly rising prices, so they can seek out the benefits of appropriate peak demand strategies while avoiding common pitfalls and misinformation that can come along with this topic.
