In 2020, he spearheaded a Research Laboratory Benchmarking Survey, engaging institutions across the ACC, Big Ten, SEC, MAC, GLIAC, AEC, Pac‑12, Big 12, and WCC conferences—an effort that strengthened national insight into research facility performance.
