Kevin joined Indiana University Health in February 2022 as Director of Engineering of Design and Construction. Prior to coming to IU Health, Kevin spent more than 20 years as a design engineer, primarily focused on healthcare system design as a consultant with a national engineering and design firm.

Kevin’s primary focus at IU Health is to ensure that healthcare facility systems are designed to operate reliably while minimizing energy consumption. His role includes development of Engineering and Sustainability standards, providing guidance and quality control of building designs, and ensuring that systems operate as designed. His work is influencing Design & Construction’s portfolio of close to $5 billion in capital projects – acute care facilities, ambulatory care facilities, and free-standing medical office buildings.

Kevin currently serves as a voting member of the ASHRAE 189.3 Committee for Design, Construction, and Operation of Sustainable High-Performance Health Care Facilities.
