Ben is a registered Fire Protection Engineer. He is experienced in the preparation of Life Safety Plans, Code Analysis Reports, Fire Sprinkler Performance Specification packages, Hydraulic Calculations, Fire Alarm Device layouts, and other related system requirements. As a Mechanical Engineer, he is familiar with Fire Protection, Plumbing, and HVAC systems for multiple building types.
Furthermore, Ben has experience in specialized fire protection design processes such as fire growth modeling and smoke movement modeling using several Computational Fluid Dynamic modeling tools. He has completed numerous DoD projects and is familiar with SpecsIntact UFGS Guide Specifications, Unified Facilities Criteria design guides, Sustainability Design, Design Build Methodology, Anti-terrorism ICD 705 (ATFP), multiple Site-specific Design Guides, and required life safety and USACE Specific quality control reviews.
