Project Overview

In a collaborative effort to promote sustainable practices and ensure a greener future, CareSource partnered with HEAPY to develop a comprehensive sustainability plan and establish ambitious sustainability goals for CareSource’s operations. By leveraging HEAPY’s expertise in sustainability planning, energy efficiency and GHG emissions inventories CareSource was able to create a detailed Environmental Sustainability plan with clear and actionable emissions reduction goals.

HEAPY collaborated closely with CareSource’s facility team to establish these clear, measurable, and time-bound sustainability goals aligned with the organization’s mission and values. These goals encompassed short-term emissions reduction strategies that aimed to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and promote sustainable practices across its operations.

Along with Sustainability and Resiliency services, HEAPY also provided a materiality assessment focused on identifying relevant Scope 3 Emissions categories and sources. The goal of this effort was to provide education to the CareSource team and to begin the process of quantifying these emissions.

Through this plan CareSource seeks to enhance its environmental stewardship and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable community.
