Project Overview

HEAPY provided Mechanical-Electrical Design for the 22,500 SF expansion to the Bangs Laboratories in Fishers, Indiana and the land immediately adjacent to the current facility with a large portion of the expansion being shelled space.

The existing building and the building expansion were provided separate power supplies. Each building has a dedicated emergency generator. The new generator for the building expansion was sized using the anticipated electrical load.

The scope of the project included:

  • Modifications to the Breakroom
  • Main Office Space Addition
  • Office Space Addition Near Breakroom and Cleanroom Space
  • One Class 5 Cleanroom
  • One Class 7 Cleanroom
  • Associated Autoclave And Ante Rooms
  • Future Lab 124
  • Future Lab 168
