Doug Sales, PE, HBDP

Doug is a Principal who leads the HEAPY Raleigh Regional Office. With more than 35 years of expertise as a client relationship leader, technical group manager, project manager and mechanical engineer, he is skilled at leading teams to design innovative, high-performance facilities that feature sustainability, resiliency, and energy efficiency.

His leadership and commitment to excellence help the team aim for technical achievement on new and renovation projects for the Raleigh Office. His decades of collaborating with clients and industry partners on projects of many different types and sizes have equipped Doug with the skills to navigate the complexities of any project.

Doug is a licensed Professional Engineer and ASHRAE High Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Dayton.
