The Christ Hospital Medical Center Liberty Township
On Saturday, January 6th, The Christ Hospital Medical Center Liberty Township (SW Ohio) held their Grand Opening. At nearly 120,000 square-feet and $62 Million, the facility is the largest ever built by the health system other than at the main hospital campus.
Heapy designed the Mechanical-Electrical systems and is providing Commissioning Services for the new Medical Center. This will be the first freestanding ER for Christ Hospital.
The building systems integrated LED lighting technologies, a high efficiency low temperature heating hot water system, high efficiency domestic hot water system, night time setback of operating rooms, high efficiency cooling equipment for the chilled water system and HEPA air filtration of the operating rooms for improved IAQ.
The medical center will include a freestanding emergency room and helicopter landing pad, extended stay patient rooms and surgical rooms, physical therapy, cardiology, radiology, urology, orthopedics and other services. It will include imaging equipment such as X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and CT scan as well as four surgical operating rooms.
In addition to our Design Services, Heapy is providing the Commissioning Services for this challenging project. Our commissioning services include an OPR Review as well as Construction on Validation and Functional Testing of the HVAC and Electrical systems including the Steam Boiler Systems, OR Purge Systems, Standby Power & Fuel Oil Systems.
