SUSTAINABILITY and SMART TECHNOLOGIES DIRECTOR
Michael is responsible for the strategic integration of Sustainability across the firm’s markets and services. His insight on the “What’s Next?” provides valuable guidance on topics such as Smart Technologies Integration across all building systems via optimizing the use of the Internet of Things. He is also a key promoter nationally for the use of the PEER Rating system for improved reliability, resiliency and sustainability of building and Power Grid electrical systems.
He has written and lectured extensively on Sustainability topics via his work as a member of the Editorial Board for Environmental Design and Construction Magazine and presenting at numerous Regional and National Conferences.
Michael is a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, a Certified Energy Manager and one of only 270 LEED Fellows worldwide. When not snow skiing, fly-fishing or golfing, Michael can typically be found serving on community and environmentally focused Boards. He is presently the Chair of USGBC Ohio and Co-Chair of the Dayton (Ohio) Regional Green Initiative (DRG.org).
