Heapy Mission: Reducing Energy Impact of the Built Environment

Now under construction, the $25 million Health and Life Sciences Center will house the medical, dental and PT programs at Sinclair Community College. Heapy Engineering's design team significantly reduced the overall energy impact of the facility with a lighting solution that will perform nearly 40% better than ASHRAE 90.1-2013.

Dayton Children's Hospital's Springboro MOB (a 115,100 SF facility), energy use will be considerably lower than the requirements of the new Ohio Energy Code, ASHRAE 90.1-2010. (The 2010 version produces an overall 18% energy improvement over the previous Code). Further helping to reduce Energy Cost and Impact, the Heapy Engineering designed HVAC equipment will additionally perform nearly 10% better than ASHRAE 90.1-2013!
